Cedric adored the novel "Through Thorns and Illusions," but not the whiny heroine, but the villain—Lero's fiancée, rejected for "true love." He genuinely couldn't understand the protagonist's choice.
After rereading the book, Cedric fell asleep. Waking up, he walked over to the mirror and froze. Lero stared back at him: green-blond hair, pink eyes, a pendant with a red stone. Panic gave way to cold calculation: he feverishly wrote down the plot, hoping to get home.
