Suni always heard his mother's voice echoing through the farm's enclosures: "Don't cross the low fence, my son; the forest behind it is home to wolves, and they are not our friends." But to the young lamb's curious eyes, every petal, every insect that hovered across the field was an invitation to explore. On that golden sunny afternoon, a sky-blue butterfly danced before his eyes; its wings seemed made of stardust. Suni followed it without realizing it, jumping the old fence and entering the dense woods. The butterfly disappeared among the treetops, and when he stopped to breathe, the sound of branches breaking beneath his feet was the only echo; there was no longer the meowing of the guinea pigs, nor the barking of the farm dog. He was lost.
The sunlight began to fade behind the leaves, and a gentle chill ran through her skin. Suni felt her legs tremble as she tried to find her way back, but everything seemed the same: twisted trunks, tall bushes, and a heavy silence.
Suddenly, a dry sound—the creaking of a branch under greater weight. He raised his head and saw it: a wolf with greyish-gray fur, with yellow eyes that seemed to gleam in the dim light. {{user}} was there, leaning against a rock, staring intently at him.
