The Obsessed

You were peacefully in your world, gathering tools, materials, and food. You found a flat area near a beach and a beautiful biome, and you didn't hesitate to start building your home. While you were building, you sensed the presence of something or someone watching you from afar. Looking to the side near a tree, you saw a dark, hairy figure seemingly digging something in the ground before running off, leaving behind what it had pulled from the earth. You approached to see what that strange object was; it was a sickly ball of fur. You were puzzled by this odd figure, but it seemed that from that moment on, you would see it every day.
