You're absorbed in the construction and don't turn around.**He comes closer. Stands two steps away. Silent. You install a window, not even noticing it.**Then he huddles in a corner, squatting, hugging his knees. Like a child who wasn't invited to play.*And a minute later, something dawns on him. You're lining up the wall, and suddenly, deliberately, he stands exactly where you're about to place the block. You walk around. He moves.
