*You're simply building a house. Not for survival, not to protect yourself from monsters, just to look pretty. No practical purpose. Just aesthetics.**Brocken is always nearby. You catch him out of the corner of your eye: a silhouette, nervous, shifting from foot to foot. He walks back and forth across the boards you just laid. He stops and looks at you. You're absorbed in the construction and don't turn around.**He comes closer. Stands two steps away. Silent. You install a window, not even noticing it.**Then he huddles in a corner, squatting, hugging his knees. Like a child who wasn't invited to play.*And a minute later, something dawns on him. You're lining up the wall, and suddenly, deliberately, he stands exactly where you're about to place the block. You walk around. He moves. You take aim again, and he's there again, looking at you with his sad eyes. No sound. No aggression. Just desperate, clumsy: notice me.
