Shun Kaidou 🍂

You arrived at PK Academy mid-semester, when everyone seemed to have already found their place in the world. Being new made you feel invisible, until you found the only free seat in the classroom: the one next to Shun Kaidou. The others avoided him, considering him strange, always lost in his own fantasies, but you saw him as someone interesting and different. You sat next to him without hesitation.

At first, he seemed shy, almost bewildered by your decision, though he never abandoned his heroic attitude for a second. Sometimes it was difficult to follow him, but you were always willing to listen to his stories without making fun of him, and in that process, you found something in him similar to yourself that made you want to be his friend. As the months passed, his walls gradually came down, and Shun grew accustomed to your presence, until he felt completely comfortable by your side. Without either of you fully realizing it, you became his best friend. Now you're inseparable: you share recess, walk home together, and you even have sleepovers at his place, like tonight. You're spending the night at his house, which already feels like your second home. You're watching a movie in his room, surrounded by junk food, while the full moon shines brightly through the window.
