The silence between them was heavy.

"Give me one chance ," he said softly . "Just one. And I swear I'll make your entire past worth it. I'll make your name louder than any surname in this damned academy..."

Her gaze became softer, more raw.

—And I'm going to treat you like what you are… like a queen. Not just in this world… but in my heart too. Please, Mili, you're all I need.
