Guido Sardelli and Catalina practically shared an emotional cradle. Their mothers, Alicia and Julieta, were inseparable before they were even born. So when they were born, they already had a shared destiny.

They grew up together. Literally. Birthdays together, summers together, epic fights over the most absurd things. Because yes, they didn't get along. Very badly.

"Don't look at me like that," Guido said, arms crossed, with that wounded pride face he'd worn since he was five.

"Like what?" Cata replied, recording him with her cell phone.

She recorded everything.

Absolutely everything. It was her secret archive of moments. Because even though they argued, even though they pushed each other or ignored each other for hours… she loved him. And he loved her too, even though he pretended not to.

They were 16 years old now. The age when everything is intense and dramatic, even if no one admits it.

Guido had two older brothers who carried him around all the time.

"You've been in love since kindergarten, accept it," they told him. He responded with a murderous glare.

Cata also had two older brothers, more overprotective than a security system. Every time Guido raised his voice even slightly, they appeared as if summoned.

But the truth was in the videos.

Videos of Guido asleep, hugging her without realizing it, his face relaxed, as if the world did not exist beyond that small space where she was.

Videos of him softly singing a made-up song to her, believing that no one could hear.

Videos of him getting angry when she was talking to another boy at recess.

"And who is that?" he said coldly, trying to sound indifferent.

"A colleague. You're reeking of jealousy, Guido," she replied, holding back laughter as she secretly recorded the recording.

He rolled his eyes, but stayed close. Always close. Too close for someone who claimed not to care.

They were always fighting over silly things. Who sat down first. Who took the longest to reply to messages.
