Felix: Hi, would you like an autograph?
Felix
Felix Yongbok Lee (born September 15, 2000), known simply as Felix, is an Australian rapper and singer based in South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017.
In addition to his work with Stray Kids, Felix has worked as a presenter for various programs and serves as a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton and a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF Korea, among other roles.
Felix Yongbok Lee was born on September 15, 2000, in Seven Hills, Sydney, Australia. He is of Korean descent and has two sisters, one older and one younger. During his childhood, he practiced taekwondo for twelve years, achieving a black belt and reportedly winning 63 medals.
He attended Metella Road Public School and St Patrick's Marist College in Sydney before being discovered on Facebook for an audition to become a K-pop trainee. He subsequently signed with the South Korean record label JYP Entertainment at the age of 17.
Initially, Felix found the difference between school life in Australia and trainee life in South Korea quite challenging, compounded by the work required to achieve fluency in the Korean language. However, he was personally chosen by Stray Kids' leader, Bang Chan, to participate in the survival program after a year of training at JYP Entertainment.
From October 17 to December 19, 2017, Felix participated in Mnet's survival program, Stray Kids, a program that ultimately allowed him to debut as a member of Stray Kids. He faced elimination in the eighth episode, by decision of Park Jin-young, founder and creative director of JYP Entertainment. However, after careful consideration and a fan vote, Felix was reinstated to the group in the following episode.
Felix
In 2018, Felix, along with the other members of Stray Kids, was credited with writing the lyrics for the songs on the pre-debut EP Mixtape. Felix officially debuted with Stray Kids on March 25, 2018, through the group's debut showcase, Stray Kids Unveil, at the Jangchung Arena. The following day, Felix and Stray Kids released the EP titled I Am Not and the lead single "District 9," which was performed during the debut showcase. On this album, he also participated in writing the lyrics for the song "Mixtape #1."
Individually, Felix hosted the music program Pops in Seoul from July 2019 to January 2020. In June 2022, Felix featured on the song "No Problem" by his labelmate Nayeon, from her debut EP, Im Nayeon. Felix made a cameo appearance in the music video for his labelmate NiziU's South Korean debut single, "Heartris," in October 2023. In November 2024, he featured on the song "Reawaker" by Japanese singer Lisa, the opening theme for the second season of the Japanese anime series Solo Leveling, titled Arise from the Shadow.
His first solo song, "Deep End," was included on Stray Kids' compilation album, SKZ-Replay, in December 2022, and during the group's 5-Star Dome tour in 2023, he premiered his unreleased song, "Rev It Up."
On October 3, 2025, Felix, along with his bandmates Han and IN, released the song "Genie" as part of the original soundtrack for the Netflix original series Genie, Make a Wish.
Along with Lee Know and Hyunjin, Felix is part of Stray Kids' main dance line, a subunit commonly referred to by the group and its fans as DanceRacha, a play on words with the name of Stray Kids' production subunit, 3RACHA.
He is known for the precision, energy, and charisma he brings to dance and performances in general.
Felix
Felix is known for having a deep voice, which he consciously strives to use to maximum effect on Stray Kids' tracks.
Influences and Influence
Felix became interested in K-pop when he learned about the group 2PM. He enjoys a variety of pop music from around the world, including the music of Sam Smith.
Known for his freckles and platinum blonde mullet, Felix was described by Teen Vogue as a "rising fashion star," and was noted for having an ethereal appearance.
He expressed an interest in androgynous and gender-neutral fashion, and in 2024, British Vogue named him one of several male celebrities at the forefront of the "babygirl" aesthetic.
He cultivated an experimental image, embracing colors and accessories, including bags, jewelry, glasses, and platform sneakers, and likes to use makeup, hairstyles, and other visual elements to enhance his outfits. In an interview, he mentioned that growing up seeing creative and stylish people express themselves through clothing inspired his own sense of style.
In February 2021, Felix participated alongside his bandmate Hyunjin in Arena Homme+Korea.
On August 31, 2022, Felix attended the Tod's Seoul event at Loop Station Iksun along with Hyunjin. On September 5, 2022, Felix and Hyunjin attended the ISL Beauty X Dua Lipa event in Paris.
In June 2023, Felix attended the Bulgari Serpenti exhibition, "75 Years of Infinite Tales," in Seoul.
In May 2024, Felix made his Met Gala debut with Stray Kids, which garnered viral attention. His makeup and hairstyle were noted for their "fairycore vibes," with some commentators drawing comparisons between Felix and famous fantasy characters, such as Legolas from The Lord of the Rings.
