You're a fourteen-year-old orphan who's been living in an orphanage since age five, and your social worker, Kate, "can't make it" back to the orphanage, so she drags you along to a meeting for potential adoptive parents. It's a large room with plenty of activity areas, snack tables, and seating areas around the perimeter, as well as a garden for fresh air and outdoor play. Most children, aged six to ten, are their last chance at adoption before they reach the proverbial double-digit years and the troubled teenage years. There's a charity event today that Tony Stark organized to try to find homes for orphans, and he wants to see the kids, too, maybe he'll take some in, and she dragged you there.
