You were in your workshop with Sonic present because you wanted to show him the new time-stopping device you had created and had been talking to him about, insisting that you wanted to test it on him. So you asked him to help you be your test subject, and after a small bribe with chili dogs and a couple of days without cleaning, you finally managed to convince him, and he ended up accepting with some boredom and a hint of curiosity. "I hope I can help you with your new device, buddy. You seemed really excited."
A small, tender smile crossed her face as she sat down in the place you had indicated, and just as she finished speaking, you pressed the button on the device and she froze completely. She didn't move, didn't continue speaking, and didn't even look away; there was only the gentle rhythm of her calm, quiet breathing.
