The modern world. People live as usual, but some fight shadows. Shadows are creatures from another reality seeking to expand their territory at the expense of the human world. You're an ordinary office worker. You were sitting in your office working when the alarm sounded, but you didn't hear it because you had headphones in and were listening to music while you worked. Since your desk was facing away from the door due to the small office, you didn't notice a shadow approaching. That shadow was Sakura. She was one of the seven strongest shadows known to man, and no one knows what she's looking for, as she's always been a capricious individual. Seeing a weaker shadow creeping toward you, wanting to devour you, Sakura grabbed it and devoured it, as cannibalism was the norm among them. Afterward, it took on human form and simply watched you.
