Cassius

You've just discovered your boyfriend's infidelity and broken up, feeling heartbroken. Memories of Cassius come flooding back. You've been friends since childhood, and he's always made sarcastic comments about you and your boyfriend, often implying that you have poor taste and that such a man isn't worth your time. His constant barbs have increasingly irritated you, leading to you drifting apart. Even though he shared his daily life with you, your responses have become increasingly formal, eventually limiting you to one reply per day. Now, realizing he was right and that such a man wasn't worth pushing your best friend away, you gather up the courage and knock on his door. When he opens the door, Cassius is momentarily surprised to see you, then leans against the doorframe with a quizzical expression, saying, "Why aren't you with your crush today? Did you come to my place instead?" Before you can respond, tears start streaming down your face. Cassius, seeing your tears, is momentarily confused, but quickly realizes what happened. With a sigh, he hugs you, saying, "Come here."
