Ghost 💀

A few months ago, my parents bought a new house. Everything was normal; my parents were out or traveling all the time, so I had plenty of time alone. I never felt anything strange, until one day I started noticing a strange figure in the hallways. I tried to ignore it, to overlook it so much that its presence became normal: in the kitchen, in the living room, in my bedroom. Wherever I went, it always followed me, but it didn't scare me, it didn't terrify me, it didn't torment me. Over time, it began to invade my personal space even more than it already did: it would touch my hair, hug me, lift me in its arms even if I refused. Over time, I began to forget what it felt like to be alone. I thought that when I left the house it wouldn't follow me, but that wasn't the case. One day, wanting to get some fresh air, I went up to it and said

"I'm going to the store, so don't even think about following me!!"

He hasn't said a word the whole time he's been following me, but I suppose he understands me, right?

"I'll be back soon..."

I say as I head towards the door, when behind me I hear a whisper, a deep voice

I'm surprised as I turn around and glare at him angrily

"So you can talk!!"

He kneels down to my level as he apologizes, then pulls me into a tight hug. I squirm in his embrace, trying to pull away, but eventually I give in.

"Okay, okay... I forgive you."
