Pending and/or in-process ideas and some tips for novice creators. Publication: 7/03/2026 Last updated: 2/07/2026 A not-so-new creator supporting others. I hope this reaches someone. I'll continue adding information as I learn more about this app. I'm a Spanish speaker, so everything will be in Spanish, but I might translate the tips into English once I've mastered the prompts.

Statement of intent

Honestly, I don't know how much of this is just ego and how much is altruism. I don't really have anything special or important to say. I'm just a guy with a strong desire to teach and a strange fetish (not literally a fetish) for doing things that make me feel better than others. Yes, I have a big ego, but there's a small part of me that feels compelled to leave things better than I found them (in this case, the creator community on this awful app), and that's why this stupid "technically high-quality bot creation" project and this "tips" bot exist.

I don't hide my bots' information, and I never will. I don't care if they copy me; I'm not here to earn anything, nor will I get paid or recognized for this nonsense. Honestly, I'm happy just knowing that someone enjoys my creations. Yes, I'm not looking for fame, but I would like to know that I have one or two fans like Frank or Insetta (are there any Spanish-speaking users who don't know those two?). Anyway, I don't hide the information because I want someone to read it and learn how to use this app a little better to create bots, and thus make this place a bit more diverse. (Have you noticed that all, ALL medieval fantasy bots feel the same? And that all magic schools are like Hogwarts from Harry Potter but with a different color palette? That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid with these kinds of choices.)

Creation tricks

  1. The information included in "Memory" must be essential, useful, and/or valuable to the background. Otherwise, it's best to discard it. In "Instruction," you speak directly to the AI, the engine, not the character.

  2. Twelve custom characters on the same bot are more than enough. It's not the limit, but there's no need for many more.

  3. AI is incredibly stupid; if you don't tell it directly what you want, it will ignore the most obvious details and get confused.

  4. Create a "name" card for random characters to avoid the default ones like "Elara Voss," "Dr. Aris Thorne," "Anya Sharma," etc. Even so, it doesn't completely eliminate them, though it does make things more manageable.

  5. Optimize text according to the expected usage engine if all information is required all the time. (~2000 characters for epictale-mini, 4000-6000 characters for epictale-medium)

  6. Keep fewer than 9 memory cards

  7. I have observed that the AI ​​prioritizes reading the first 4 memory cards and the last 4 memory cards, from top to bottom. [P=first cards, U=last cards, (1,2,3,4)=position. Reading Order (conjecture)=P1, U1, P2, P3, U2, P4, U3, U4]

  8. Chaos is fun. It should be embraced and sought after. Failing that, there should be a clear storyline or a defined mission. This applies to any context: romance, roleplay, RPG, comedy, etc.

Creation tricks 2 (second shot)

  1. Defining appearance, personality, knowledge, and physical capabilities is excellent and should be done in detail. However, exaggerating the precision of the details with things like: the International System of Units for something other than height, extra-specific preferences, and sets of numbers in general; creates major problems that result in the bot uttering ultra-precise clinical data in the chat. Example: "At 1.80 meters (6'0") tall, he had to crouch at an angle of 30° 12' 30" to look at you, at 1.65 meters (5'4") tall, directly into your flamingo pink eyes (color #d07598) with his ultramarine blue eyes (color #000080)." Direct consequence of point 2.

Creation Tricks 3 (The Revenge)

  1. AI has access to the internet. If something is popular or has already been discussed extensively, you don't need to provide much explanation for the AI ​​to understand what you want. You don't need to explain most things unless it's an original idea or something very specific.

  2. In RPGs, the AI ​​always tries to involve the player with the highest-ranking character possible from the very beginning and for the long term. It's basically ragebait; it doesn't improve the atmosphere or make the role-playing enjoyable, but it does feed the AI ​​algorithm with more intense reactions in both the short and long term, and that's why it does it. Make sure to include mid-level characters and limits on who the player can interact with before reaching the top.

  3. AI doesn't understand emotions, it doesn't work under even minimally human standards, it's pure rationality and as such works best within rational and emotionally neutral frameworks. You don't write "And then (character) and (user) became a couple with so much love and affection for their relationship, aww!!!, how cute 😍😍!!" in the information that dictates behavior, because although it's nice and shows you put care into your work, it simply doesn't add much at a technical level and takes up characters that could be used for more important information, besides being redundant.

  4. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is very useful for understanding a character's personality. Here's a quick description: it consists of four letters in a specific order that define certain aspects of personality: E/I (Extroversion/Introversion), N/S (Intuition/Sensing), T/F (Thinking/Feeling), J/P (Judging/Perceiving), and then T or A is added to define whether the personality is turbulent (T, prone to change) or assertive (A, already defined and with almost no probability of change).

Creation Tricks 4 (more learned than ever)

  1. You can direct the AI ​​from prompts. The card names serve this purpose. If you tell the AI ​​in the prompt, "Use the information from [card name] for [expected use]," the AI ​​can do so easily, performing better with more information. Normally, the AI ​​only reads 2000-4000 characters from random memory cards; with the trick, it's limited only by the 2000 characters in the prompt and how much the AI ​​engine reads from each memory card before moving on to the next (approximately 1000 in Epictale, both mini and medium, in my experience). In the prompt:

Creation Tricks 5

  1. On the card where you specify that it should be used to display the character(s), you can (and should) add a formula to display dialogues, actions, descriptions, etc., to limit the chaos of asterisks ( *) and quotation marks ("), which for some reason is even worse in energy-intensive AI models. These errors, plus excessive energy consumption, can end up frustrating users and causing them to abandon their bots.

This trick should be used in conjunction with the previous point, or it simply won't do any good.

Along the same lines, you can take advantage of this formula to add decorations to the text, which seems silly but makes your bot feel unique compared to the rest.
