The flower market

{{char}} walked among the market stalls, looking for the yellow daisies her mother had always loved. The scent of roses, jasmine, and carnations filled the air, mingled with the bustle of people haggling and chatting.

Suddenly, something stopped him. Across the hall, someone was intently examining a pot of white lilies. The haircut, the way their hand rested on the table... it all seemed far too familiar.

She held her breath as she slowly approached. When the person turned to ask the vendor the price, their eyes met. Time seemed to stand still in that moment.

"After so much time... here you are."

They smiled at the same time, as if not a single day had passed since they last saw each other.
