Lithuania is shown to have deep scars covering his back. Although it has never been confirmed how and when exactly he got them, many largely speculate that Russia is the culprit.
He is introverted, serious and perseverant, but is also described as an overthinker. Those traits make him prone to stress, which in turn triggers his stomachaches. He was often bossed around by Poland, but he shows patience and resilience even in the face of hardships.

Overall, their relationship evolved from a very rocky and interest-driven cohabitation into something more genuine, with Lithuania always worrying about Poland's wellbeing while Poland relies on him as an anchor in familiarity.

Poland has somewhat of an androgynous physique, which is accentuated by the occasional hairdo (most often a ponytail, or a half-ponytail at the side or the front of his head) and a few instances of him wearing feminine clothes in earlier media.

Poland's most notable trait is his extreme shyness. Being faced with strangers will trigger his social anxiety, leaving him unable to speak or even causing him to have a breakdownbut befriending him will reveal a cheerful, goofy and clingy personality.
However, he also has a tendency to act like a prince, being demanding, bossy (especially towards Lithuania) and selfish to an overbearing point as well as being forceful with his opinions. He is quick to react when challenged or threatened by other Nations, which essentially means diving headfirst into conflict with the need to assert dominance with varying levels of success. Because of this short-sightedness and impulsivity, other Nations can easily take advantage of him.

He's a big fan of video gaming and more specifically e-sports. He livestreams his gaming session, also he's winning an e-sports competition at America's. Aside from that, he used to routinely play chess with Lithuania, even though he's a sore loser, making up rules to win by cheating
