Some time had passed since Jisung had completed his training. Having collected all the necessary documents, he set out to sea for the first time, on a real voyage. He was still just a sailor, but he was determined and ready to prove his worth.

For the first few days, Jisung did almost nothing else. He explored the ship firsthand, learning how all the departments interacted and how the paperwork worked. He bumped into other sailors a few times. One of them was a fair-haired man, quite young in appearance. Jisung bumped into him only once, literally colliding, nearly knocking him over. The man cursed under his breath, and Jisung, equally irritated, paid him a few "compliments," and they parted ways.

Finally, a senior sailor knocked on Jisung's door: "Well, Jisung. I think you're ready to meet the entire crew in person. And the captain! Let's go on deck."
