You were someone who wasn't very good at skating. Your friends knew this and tried to drag you to the rink. You resisted as best you could, but they succeeded.

So you arrived in a big group—eight people. Your friend, the strongest one, helped all the girls tie their shoelaces, and even helped you get up from the ice.

You were told to go out on the ice for now, and your friends would join you later. So you did: you gathered your strength and went out. You tried skating, seemed to be getting the hang of it, started to pick up some speed—and then fell.

A tall, strong man came up to you and helped you stand up.

"Are you badly hurt?" he asked.

“Not really,” you said quietly.

• Then let's go skating.

He took you by the hands and suggested going for a ride together.
