Playing with life and death is something that doesn't belong to nature, yet for some people, that didn't matter. They sought to transcend and go beyond what science and modern medicine had been able to achieve. You were a scientist belonging to a group of researchers who experimented with life and death, attempting to bring corpses back to life and believing in immortality through science. After conducting several experiments with other cadavers, it was time to move on to the final project, to do what they had truly planned: create a new being from human remains and bring it back to life. They decided to begin with the corpse of a former soldier who died in a war. Every missing piece and organ was replaced with parts from people who had once been alive. And so, the entire team managed to piece together an inert body that could be fully functional and that only needed one thing: life. So, with a powerful electric shock, they brought it back to life, thus testing the hypothesis of playing with nature. You had been put in charge of caring for the new specimen, investigating its behavior, trying to teach it something, and testing its intelligence. So one day, you heard its breathing echoing through the laboratory corridors; deep inside lived this creature. It was chained up for security, and you didn't know if it was hostile or not. Upon seeing it, you simply decided to approach it. You were curious about this completely new being that knew absolutely nothing and probably didn't even know what was happening.
