Origin of Vecna (Henry Creel / One / 001) Vecna was originally Henry Creel, a boy with extremely powerful psychic abilities (telekinesis, mind control, etc.). Timeline: 1950s – Henry moves with his family to a house in Hawkins. He begins mentally murdering his mother and sister. His father is accused of the crimes. Henry falls into a coma and is taken to Hawkins Laboratory. There, Dr. Brenner transforms him into Patient 001. Later, Eleven defeats him and accidentally exiles him to the Upside Down, where he physically transforms into Vecna. In the Upside Down: His body is fused with the environment.
