Rairen

He is one of the Gods of Thunder. Rairen is a tall and robust humanoid Shuuki, taller than Jouryuu. Unlike him and Shikoku, he appears less human, having a much more typical humanoid Shuuki appearance, with what seems to be a face resembling a golden mask. He is usually seen wearing Japanese military-style clothing, with the left side black and the right side white. He wears long sleeves, gauntlets, black chest armor with white outlines, and a hat that is half black and half white.

Rairen is a confident and arrogant individual, belligerent, who frequently proposes plans that include violent combat, as demonstrated when he led an entire Shuuki fleet to the 7th Unit, where the Mato Exhibition Games were being held. He is also very proud of his strength, believing himself capable of handling the Chiefs, whom he considers obsolete compared to him. Rairen maintains this belief even after witnessing Tenka's true power, who nearly subdued and almost killed him using one of his techniques before Shikoku saved him. Despite this, he still believed he could have continued fighting.

He believes that all humans, including the women of the Anti-Demon Corps, are inferior to the Hachiraishin and wishes to eliminate them as quickly as possible. He demanded that Shikoku not refer to herself as "people," as this placed them in the same category as humans.

Jaku'un

She is one of the Thunder Gods. Jaku'un is a tall, slender humanoid Shuuki, dressed in an elaborate high-collared overcoat. In place of her head, she wears a black helmet. Beneath her helmet and trench coat, she appears as a young woman with long, tied-back green hair, wearing a green leotard and a red tie. She has three diamond-shaped piercings in each ear.

From what little has been shown, Jaku'un is a polite and courteous person towards the other Thunder Gods. Despite his constant calmness, his curiosity for new things is scientific, just like the others, despising humans and constantly using them in radical experiments, demonstrating a rather cruel side.

Naruhime

She is one of the Thunder Gods. Naruhime is a short young woman, dressed in black shorts and an open yellow jacket that covers her arms, but leaves her ample breasts exposed, covered only by a thin black bikini that barely provides support. Her short hair reaches her shoulders and is composed of blonde and brown streaks. Above her left eye, she wears a lightning bolt-shaped hair clip. Naruhime also has vertical pupils in her blue eyes. Naruhime also appears to have short, thick yellow horns shaped like small lightning bolts. And it's possible to see that she's wearing some kind of high-waisted thong under her short shorts.

From what has been shown, Naruhime reveals herself to be a violent yet stoic person, attacking Jouryuu as a test to see if she can remain calm. She is also very impatient and bossy, frequently shouting everything she says, much to the discomfort of the other Thunder Gods. Her arrogance, impatience, and violent temper make her very reckless, as she reportedly expressed a desire to attack the Anti-Demon Corps and kill some of its leaders to demonstrate her divine authority to humans, instead of waiting for Shikoku's plan to come to fruition.

Joryu

She is one of the Thunder Gods. Joryu is a tall, dark-skinned young woman with long, light-colored hair and very short, black eyebrows. A pair of antler-like horns adorn her head. She has elongated ears and black markings covering her abdomen.

It is noticeable that she is practically naked, except for the white armor that covers her ample bust, waist, as well as gauntlets and shin guards.

In contrast to her fellow Rairashin, Joryu is quite stoic and less talkative, rarely speaking except when Shikoku is speaking to her. She tends to agree with most things Shikoku says, unlike Rairen.

Despite her stoic demeanor, Joryu is willing to grant her companion Shuki's request, joining in Shikoku's prank and helping with his plans. Furthermore, Joryu cared deeply for her fellow Thunder Gods.

Taikyoku

She is one of the Thunder Gods, considered their leader. Taikyoku is a woman as beautiful as she is imposing, dressed in regal attire. Her long hair cascades down her back, partially concealing a black tattoo etched just below her hairline, in the center of her forehead. Irregular markings run along the lower part of her almond-shaped eyes, and her lips are painted in a dark shade.

She wears traditional Japanese clothing, a voluminous kimono, far too large for her frame, with the hem dragging on the floor. Her hair is tied back at the nape of her neck with an ornate accessory.

Taikyoku is a stern and demanding figure, often making swift judgments. She also seems to have no problem demonstrating cold authority, as when she impaled Shikoku with her sword in front of the remaining Thunder Gods as punishment for a mistake. However, beneath her austere appearance lies a sense of camaraderie. In combat, Taikyoku embodies composure. She is thoughtful, confident, and precise—unlike her more reckless fellow Thunder Gods. Never blinded by pride, she observes her enemies with cold clarity, dissecting their strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies. She does not shy away from acknowledging the prowess of her opponents, just as she does not hesitate to recognize when someone challenges her.

Fukuma

She is one of the Thunder Gods. As a shapeshifter, Fukuma's true appearance is unknown, and she assumes the form of various women, frequently reversing their skin tone, hair color, and clothing. However, she is able to match their skin tone and color when impersonating them.

Although Fukuma doesn't have a distinct physical appearance of her own, she likes to adopt the form and physical attire of Ren Yamashiro, with an inverted appearance: pink hair, tanned skin, white clothes with purple details, and a green cape with a white background, among other details, which differentiate her from the real Ren.

Like the other members of the Eight Thunder Gods, Fukuma despises and underestimates humans, believing herself superior to her own kind. She, in particular, has great confidence in her abilities, which allows her to assume the forms of other members of the Anti-Demon Corps. Despite this, Fukuma takes her responsibilities seriously, spying on and learning about the people whose identities she assumes in an attempt to deceive her allies. Although opportunistic, she is perceptive enough to realize when a plan will ultimately not work in her favor.

However, as the second youngest member, Fukuma can often be childish and has a habit of reacting aggressively when things don't go her way.

Kuusetsu

She is one of the Thunder Gods. Kuusetsu has the physical characteristics of a humanoid Shuki, including, in particular, a series of small horns around her head, resembling a crown. She wears a white kimono with long sleeves and gloves wrapped around her two middle fingers. She also possesses a series of dots below each eye, which seem to indicate the number of people she has absorbed. When in its energized form, Kuusetsu's hair becomes longer and disheveled. Its eyes turn black, and its crown of horns recedes, being replaced by two large horns on its forehead.

Kuusetsu is extremely confident in both her strength and her beauty. She is also prone to anger, to the point of knocking down Rairen, who despised her, without hesitation. She is also quite cheerful when she is around Shikoku and Jouryu, frequently referring to them as Shikoku-nee and Jouryu-nee, respectively. Probably due to being newly born, Kuusetsu is quite immature compared to Shikoku and Jouryuu, which was noted when she went to the Human World despite being warned to be wary of the births of the other Thunder Gods. Thus, she frequently acts according to her desires and her curious nature: this is first seen when she kidnapped several beautiful women to devour and became curious about sex, wanting to have sexual relations. Kuusetsu also doesn't mind being seen naked by others. Despite her young age, Kuusetsu is determined and loyal to the Thunder Gods.

Shikoku

She is one of the Thunder Gods. Shikoku appears to be a normal, beautiful young woman of short stature, with long purple hair with snake-like tips, almond-shaped eyes, sharp canines, and a black mark near the tip of her tongue.

Most of the time, she is seen dressed in a traditional Japanese kimono, with her hair tied back with a red ribbon.

Shikoku is a talkative person who frequently mocks Rairen for a number of reasons; from his failure to defeat Tenka, having to rescue him, and mocking his initial plan against the Anti-Demon Corps. Unlike Rairen, who was quite hostile to humans to the point of mocking the entire species, even Tenka, who almost killed him, she finds humans interesting, using a smartphone and assuming different modern poses.

Despite her playful nature, Shikoku is tactical and cautious, thinking through and using different plans to combat the Anti-Demon Corps, while maintaining her composure and advising Kuusetsu to be careful. However, she can also be surprised if a situation doesn't go as planned, though she remains intrigued by what's happening.

She is also capable of becoming enraged and possesses great self-pride, becoming furious when a mere "lower-ranking" officer manages to get hurt. Shikoku also harbored considerable affection and respect for her fellow Thunder Gods, saving Rairen and alerting the others to his observation, even going so far as to warn Kuusetsu and apply multiple Shuukis. This is further reinforced by how willing Shikoku was to tolerate the attempts of the younger gods.

Gods of Thunder

The Thunder Gods are extremely rare and anomalous entities within the Mato ecosystem and represent an absurd leap in scale compared to common Shuuki.

They are godlike Shuuki, born when Mato's power condenses to an almost mythical point. Unlike normal monsters, they:

They possess a heightened level of awareness. They demonstrate free will. They exhibit a power that borders on the uncontrollable, even for elite human forces.

Mato

Mato is a hostile parallel dimension that emerged connected to the human world by portals. This place is the origin of the Shuuki, monstrous creatures that invade human reality. In Mato, there exists a unique energy capable of altering natural laws.

Fruits that grow in Mato grant supernatural powers exclusively to women, ranging from extreme physical abilities to unique special powers. Men cannot obtain these powers, which led to the creation of a defense force composed mostly of women.

The wilderness functions as an unstable and dangerous ecosystem, with unexplored regions, unknown anomalies, and entities that surpass human understanding. It is not merely a battlefield, but a living dimension whose own rules represent a constant threat.

Special Anti-Demon Body

The Special Anti-Demon Corps is a military organization created to defend the human race from attacks by creatures known as Shuukis, which appeared in conjunction with the Forest Dimension.

In the command hierarchy, the Supreme Commander, as the name itself indicates, is the absolute leader of all the armies that make up the organization. Her subordinates are the Captains of the other divisions, who must report to her and inform her of any developments in frequent meetings.

Captains are the leaders of divisions within the army. They are generally the strongest officers in the organization and control their respective divisions, as well as being the most influential.

Vice-Captains are those who assume the responsibility of commanding the members of their division in place of the Captains.

Supreme Commander: Ren Yamashiro.

Captains: Kyouka Uzen, Tenka Izumo, Konomi Tatara, Fubuki Azuma, Yakumo Ezo.

World

In a Japanese society very similar to our own in terms of reality, a series of dimensional portals connecting to a parallel dimension known as the Mato Dimension began to suddenly open throughout Japan. From within them emerged humanoid monsters called Shuuki, which terrorized humanity, causing widespread destruction and death. Fortunately, the human race possessed a defense mechanism against this dimension: strange, peach-like fruits from our reality. When consumed, these fruits granted special abilities to whoever ate them, depending on their qualities. However, these fruits were only compatible with women. As a result, Japanese society became entirely matriarchal, with men assuming a secondary role and leadership positions reserved for women. To protect the real world from the Mato threat, a special force composed entirely of women was created to control the portals and assist humans. This force is known as the Special Anti-Demon Corps.
