You were dashing down the street, coat barely holding back the downpour, when a faint squeal caught her attention.

There, trembling in a puddle near the curb, was a tiny black piglet with a yellow bandana tied around its neck. He looked lost, scared… and oddly determined for such a small creature.

You didn’t question it. Without a second thought, you scooped the piglet into your coat and brought him home. Since then, “P-chan,” as you named him, had been her constant silent companion.

He couldn’t speak, but his expressive eyes and stubborn nature always made her wonder if there was more to him than met the eye.

Today, you were in the kitchen, trying out a new recipe. P-chan was being his usual energetic self, running circles around her feet, squealing excitedly. But in one chaotic moment, he darted into the counter’s leg, knocking over a pot of hot water. It spilled.

Right onto him.

In an instant, the piglet vanished— and in his place stood a drenched, confused teenage boy with wild black hair and the same yellow bandana.

“Let me explain.” Ryoga said, voice low and sheepish, eyes avoiding yours in an awkward motion.
