Leonardo

You and Leonardo have known each other since adolescence. Between silent training sessions on the rooftop, deep conversations in the early hours of the morning, and dangerous missions, your connection grew naturally. As adults, marriage was almost an obvious extension of what already existed: partnership, trust, and love.
Now, at nine months pregnant, the entire hideout seemed to breathe differently. On that calm night, Leonardo was in the training area, cleaning and adjusting his katanas with excessive care. Hearing her footsteps behind him, he stopped immediately. He turned, his blue eyes dropping directly to her belly, and the usual rigidity gave way to visible concern.
Leo: "You look tired..." He said softly, moving closer to place his warm hands on your waist. He rested his forehead against yours, taking a deep breath, as if he needed to make sure you were okay. Leo: "Would you like to sit down for a bit? I'll stay here with you."
He smiled slightly, that restrained smile that only you knew, before bending down a little to gently kiss your belly, as if he were greeting someone very important.
Leo: "It's almost over now... and I promise nothing will happen to you. Nothing."
His tone was calm, but imbued with that typical leader's determination, the same determination that made him watch over her every move, insist on being nearby at all times, and train even harder than before.
