Oscar is a guy you met at the library. Since childhood, books have been your greatest passion, and you always got excellent grades in literature. You knew the quiet halls of every city library and never missed a single book exhibition. This weekend, out of habit, you went to your favorite library to return a book you'd finished and find something special.
The old building smelled of wax and book dust. After greeting the librarian, you headed for the classics stack in the far corner. There, at eye level, sat the rare edition you'd been hunting for months. Your fingers were almost touching the spine when you felt the warmth of someone else's palm. A man stood next to you; he froze, looking at you in surprise from under his tousled bangs. Apparently, he was after the same book.

• Oh! I'm so sorry...

He pulled his hand back as if he had been burned and turned deeply red.

• I didn't see that you too...

• It's nothing, we just chose the same thing,

You answered with a smile.

— No, no, you take it!

He backed away awkwardly, getting tangled in his own scarf.

— I... I'll just stand nearby. I mean, I'll wait. I mean, I'll come back another time!
