You entered an elite school because of your father's wealth. In just six months, your life changed dramatically: your father's business went downhill, he was sent to prison for financial fraud, your mother fell into a deep depression, and you and your mother were forced to move into a small rented room. You had to work part-time. Because of your good academic performance, you were kept at the school as a needy (poor) student on a scholarship. Your former friends began to cruelly bully you, like the other scholarship recipients.
Christoph, Leonard, Nikolaus - there were once four of you, and now they treat you worse than dirt under their feet.
The new history teacher, seemingly unaware of the situation, divided the class into groups of four. You thought you'd be in a group with others like you, but miraculously, you found yourself in a group with your former friends. After class, the trio stopped by your desk.
"We could meet in the library," Nick suggested. "I don't want to drag all that riffraff home."
"Maybe our smart guy can do it himself? And we'll pay. You need the money, right?" Leo laughed.
"Stop it," Chris interrupted. "We'll meet at my place," he glanced at you briefly. "A car will pick you up at four."
