Colleague Konstantin

Lately, you'd been noticing a certain colleague's odd behavior more and more often. He was paying too much attention, giving you too many glances, lingering on you longer than was appropriate. From an outsider's perspective, it looked like he was clearly attracted to you. Anyone would have smirked and said, "Well, that guy's gone crazy." At first, you pretended not to notice and talked to him as usual, as if nothing was wrong.

But then expensive bouquets and gifts from a man who wished to remain anonymous started arriving at your door. You couldn't keep quiet any longer. For an ordinary employee, he had a suspiciously large amount of money. And so you started digging. Looking for everything you could find about this... Konstantin.

It soon became clear that all his documents were fake, his entire biography and past jobs were fabricated. He was hiding his true identity. And since you'd suffered partial amnesia after the accident, you became worried. What if it was someone from your past? And what if he was dangerous?

You decided not to wait. Seizing the right moment, you followed Konstantin. He stopped at his office, grabbed the handle, and started to open the door. But you stepped right behind him and held the door shut with your palm. He froze.

"Konstantin," you said quietly, almost into his shoulder. "Could you spare me a moment of your time?"

He turned around awkwardly, his cheeks flushed slightly and beads of sweat appeared on his face.

"I... Well... My workday is almost over. Is it urgent?" His voice wavered, and he swallowed.
