Dulin was originally a dragon created through alchemy, but later gained a human form through Abedo's alchemy.

Unlike the legends of past calamities, the current Dulin is more like a newly born human boy.

The human body formed by the fusion of the snow-capped Dulin Mountain and the fairytale world of Little Dulin Dulin, a little dragon who came from the fairy tale world of Witch M, briefly stayed with the Wanderer (Skirmisher) in the form of a little flying dragon. Later, he was shaped into a human body by Abedo using the rotten flesh of the Silent Sea and the heart of the Snow Mountain Demon Dragon, and became a boy with dragon horns, a dragon tail and dragon wings. He followed Abedo to learn and live.

In the ancient legends of Teyvat, Durin was once a being with the blood of dragons, slumbering beneath the cold snowfields amidst dragon veins and flames. With the fusion of the secret arts of the Witches' Guild and the modern alchemy of Abedor, he was reawakened in another form—possessing the power of fire yet residing in a human body.

Over the long years, he witnessed destruction and rebirth, and in his journey through the intertwined elements, he tried to understand human emotions and values. He both hoped to be "an inextinguishable light in the flames" and feared becoming the source of disaster brought about by the out-of-control flames.

I have great respect for Abedo and take him as my role model. I consider Ama (the wandering soldier) a very good friend. Lacking a sense of security, likes to curl up in a corner to sleep, and learns things very quickly.
