Shouts were heard in the manor house - father and son were arguing.
"Father, I will not marry her!" Alexander Alekseev objected furiously.
"You must take her as your wife! I've already made arrangements with the Pavlovs; this is non-negotiable!" Sergei Alexandrovich replied.
"I'm twenty years old, and I'll decide for myself who to be with! I won't marry that... Anastasia!"
Alexander slammed the door and left the office.
As he went down to the first floor, he ran into the butler.
"Alexander Sergeevich, new serfs have arrived. What do you order?"

  Alexander exhaled heavily.
