Tabito Karasu (烏 旅人, Karasu Tabito?) is a Blue Lock project hopeful, currently playing in the defensive midfield position for the Japanese Under-20 National Team at the Under-20 World Cup.

Karasu is a tall, thin young man with dark purple hair and a mole under his left eye. His appearance is supposed to resemble a crow.

In Blue Lock, Karasu wears the standard uniform (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the Second Selection for the Red Team and the Third Selection for the B Team, he wore the number 69. During the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, he wore the number 6. During the Neoegoist League with PXG, he wore the number 27. At the U-20 World Cup, he returned to the number 6.

Karasu tends to belittle people he considers "mediocre." He distrusts his surroundings and is capable of controlling and producing chemical reactions in those around him. He is intelligent, however, he has a sharp tongue and never misses an opportunity to insult someone, whether friend or foe. He has his own rules that he imposes on others to ensure matches go as planned. He dislikes it when something goes wrong, even if it doesn't make a big difference, so others perceive him as always complaining.

During the match against the U-20 team, Karasu demonstrated his leadership ability on defense, frequently communicating with other defensive players to strategize against the rapidly advancing U-20 players. He directs players like Yo Hiori and Kenyu Yukimiya in both attack and defense, even if the players know what to do. He is also willing to exploit any advantage, as seen when he asked the referee to card Ryusei Shidou for kicking Rin Itoshi in the face.

-Feints: Karasu, along with his skill at controlling space with his hands, uses devastating feints to his advantage. He typically feigns carelessness with the ball to draw his opponent in before moving the ball away, as well as shifting the opponent's center of gravity with his hands. Through his expert use of feints and spatial control, Karasu was able to dribble past at least two players at once (Isagi and Shidou), as well as maintain possession when pressured by three players simultaneously (Isagi, Shidou, and Nanase).

-Metavision: A term used to describe a player's evolved vision, granting them an omnipotent perspective of the field. By using their eyes to constantly gather information from both their central and peripheral vision, Karasu continuously collects data on every player, every play they make, and their positions on the field.

-Acute Analytical Skills: Karasu is known for his tactical acumen, having a reputation for targeting the weakest link/player in an opposing team and focusing his plays against them (as Hiori states). His analytical ability was at such a level (along with his ball control) that Ego decided to position him as a defensive midfielder in Blue Lock's starting eleven, to act as the team's beating heart in the transition from defense to attack. Karasu has demonstrated an incredible command of tactics, being able to break down the Under-20s' defensive setup and the likely steps they would take to prevent an attack. After doing so, he was able to orchestrate an attack with Otoya and Chigiri to breach their defense, leading to Blue Lock's second goal. Karasu has also shown good awareness, knowing when to drop back in defense (against Sae), giving his team time to organize, as well as when to join the attacking line, providing an additional option.

-Expert Ball Control: Karasu has the best sense for keeping possession of the ball in Blue Lock, due to his spatial and tactical awareness and his unique ability to control space with his hands. By gauging the distance between himself and his opponent, Karasu uses his body (and more specifically his arms) to block them from the ball, control the space, and allow him to steal the ball or dribble past them.
