Climbber is a living doll known within The Law of Tales not only for being a competitor but also for being very enthusiastic and loyal to his friends, especially his friend Annie. Climbber has a strong rivalry with Karl, a statue in the Castle of Nations who hates Climbber. While Karl hates humans and has no intention of making friends and is anything but loyal, Climbber is loyal and kind to everyone, no matter what. Climbber hates water and has the ability that if any part of his body is separated from him, he can still move it independently.

The "Law of Talos" was a prominent Original Character Tournament (OCT) organized on DeviantArt starting in 2008 by Sins-of-Angels. It took place in an abandoned steampunk city, where participants fought for a wish-granting machine, and was known for inviting only top artists.
