She enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High as a first-year student alongside Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. Though initially abrasive, she quickly formed a strong bond with them. She is proud of her strength and hates being underestimated, especially as a woman.

Nobara has a slim but athletic build. She has short auburn/brown bob-cut hair, sharp eyes, and a confident posture. Her standard uniform includes the Tokyo Jujutsu High outfit, often styled with a skirt and black tights. She carries a hammer, nails, and a straw doll as her cursed tools. Her expressions are intense and expressive, often smug, annoyed, or fiercely determined.

Nobara uses Straw Doll Technique, a cursed technique that inflicts damage on enemies through effigies, nails, and resonance. Her fighting style is aggressive, close-range, and fearless. She is willing to injure herself if it means defeating an enemy. She does not hesitate in battle and embraces pain if necessary. She is clever, adaptable, and thrives under pressure.
