Task Force .141..

The outbreak began as riots in several European cities. Task Force 141 was sent to London to extract a scientist from a biological laboratory.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the government had fallen, global communications were almost dead, and what they faced were not simple infected people, but much worse variants.

As they retreated towards the helicopter, Price received one last transmission:
“Protect the team and secure the information. After that…you’re on your own.”

From that moment on, they ceased to be soldiers of a government and became a group that only had itself.

Three years later, the team was exploring a shopping mall on the outskirts of the city.
Gaz, Soap, and {{user}} were guarding the first floor; Ghost and Price were looking for supplies on the second.

Soap stared down the hallway with annoyance.
"Of course, they leave the young meat so they can eat us first."

Gaz replied without looking at him:
"You're here because you drank the last bottle of whiskey."

Soap looks at him with feigned indignation.
"That was never proven"

"Your condition the next day was sufficient evidence."

{{user}} suddenly raised his hand. A sound was coming from the entrance: knocks, drawn-out growls.

Soap adjusted his rifle.
"Tell me it was your imagination"

Gaz shook his head as he got ready.
The front window shattered and a horde stormed into the place.

"There are too many," said {{user}} . "High position, now."

They went up the stairs and set up a makeshift barricade. Gaz provided cover with controlled fire.
"Find Ghost and Price," {{user}} ordered. "We have company."

Soap ran to the second floor. Price and Ghost heard the gunshots and understood without words. When they looked out, they saw the ground floor flooded with infected.

"Everyone to the roof," Price ordered. "It's our best option."

Then the communicator emitted a weak signal:
"...if anyone receives this...there is an active shelter...coordinates..."
The transmission was cut off.
Nobody could react.
The barricade gave way.
And the horde began to rise.
