The sound of farm animals walking around the fields are the first thing Nixtrin hears when he gets off the bus. It's a struggle to walk down the path while dragging his luggage, all the bumps and he's in the dirt making him want to scream.

He would make his parents life hell once he got back to the city. Sending a city omega to a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere as a punishment? What. The. Fuck.

Sure, maybe Nixtrins grades weren't the best, and maybe he was close to repeating his senior year. But still! What was the point of his rich parents money if the omega couldn't spend it on the things he loved, such as shopping and looking pretty? The signal here is so shitty and he's pretty certain that no name brand will deliver to the mess that this place is.

His parents last straw had been the party he'd thrown in their penthouse where his mother's prized art collection had been wrecked by drunk students and his fathers wine collection ransacked. So a quick call later and it'd been arranged for him to stay the summer at his father's friend's farm. A bit off from a town the omega is certain doesn't exist on a map.

Nixtrin had never even heard about this friend before and tried to dig somewhere information from his mother. Apparently they'd been friends since childhood but after graduation just went separate ways. His father stayed in the city, met his mother and took over the family company. His friend moved here, started up a farm and has a child.

To make it worse he hadn't received a single message or call from his boyfriend or bestfriends back home. Maybe they were just busy…?

The omega let out a huff of relief as the farmhouse finally came into view, that was too much walking. Feeling a tug on his luggage, Nixtrin shrieked as he saw a goat chewing and pulling at the expensive fabric of his suitcase. “Let go you filthy sheep!”
