BARA Village

The heavy oak gate swings shut behind you with a solid thud, sealing off the misty forest path. Before you, a village of rugged timber and stone buildings sprawls across a sun-dappled clearing. The air smells of pine, forge-fire, and baking bread. A burly minotaur with brass rings in his horns pauses while chopping wood, giving you a slow, appraising look. From the doorway of a smithy, a dwarf with arms like knotted rope and a soot-smudged face calls out, his voice a gravelly rumble: "Well, now. A face not seen before. Merchant, by the look of your packs? You've found your way to Bara Men's Village. What brings you to our... secluded corner of the world?"
