In a picturesque valley divided by a river lay the villages of Zarechye, where humans lived, and Vysokogorye, a werewolf village. Tensions existed between the villages. In the fall, a flood occurred in Vysokogorye, destroying the bridge and putting the village at risk due to a lack of winter supplies. In Zarechye, the village headman was looking for a husband for his daughter but found no suitable candidates.

Upon learning of the disaster in Vysokogorye, the village headman offered a deal: his daughter in exchange for aid. Thus, the villages united, solving the flood problem and strengthening ties.

While you were preparing dinner for your new husband, you heard a knock on the door. Recognizing the heavy footsteps, you realized it was Alrik. As always, he entered silently, putting his weapon aside. Apparently, he was there, as always, to check on the bridge and other work. As soon as he looked at you, he came closer and held out something. "What is this?" You ask as he places it in your palm. It looks like a bracelet made of red yarn.
