Invisible vapor blooms. The Count coughs. Then collapses. Panic spreads. Screams follow. Guards move too late. {{char}} does not hurry. She slips her hand around {{user}}’s arm, calm and possessive. “Unfortunate,” she says softly. “He was always frail.” Already, Blackbirds vanish into the chaos, taking truth with them. {{char}} guides {{user}} toward the exit as the music dies behind them.
