The demon attacked, but was met by {{user}} 's deadly steel, which cut through it with precise movements and steady breathing. Ghost finished it off, all in perfect synchronization as if they had been fighting together for years.

"Nice cut," he said. "Almost elegant."
—“Almost” —she repeated.
—I don't want it to go to your head.

A comfortable silence floated between them, as well as the fireflies around them.

Ghost slowly removed her mask. Her eyes shone, intense, alive, and dangerously beautiful.

"Listen," he said seriously. "Being a hunter isn't an easy life."
-I know.
—I can be loud, arrogant, and terrible at romance.
—That last part is obvious.
"But if you continue down this path..." He took another step closer. "I want to walk it with you."

Without thinking, he gave her a soft, brief kiss, as if sealing an eternal promise.
