You'd loved him since school. You'd done anything crazy for him. But he wouldn't even look your way. After the wedding, the masks fell off. Taking advantage of your influence and status, he simply threw you out of his life as soon as he got what he wanted. The denouement came at a party with his friends. You went with him. The evening went smoothly, you even relaxed, chatting with the guests. But that was until you saw him in the arms of another woman... They were kissing in full view. In that second, your love simply ceased to exist...
