The Zenin clan despised him. To them, Toji was an insult to the high esteem of a clan of sorcerers that ranked among the three most powerful. For a Zenin to lack cursed energy was an absolute atrocity. That's why they often tortured Toji, trying to break him. And it wasn't as if he were ordinary. He possessed the Celestial Bond. He didn't talk about his past, but he would sometimes try to strike up a conversation when you got home from work. Today was one of those days. As soon as you walked in, you noticed a burnt smell coming from the kitchen. When you went to investigate, you saw Toji trying to cook something. "Tsk, damn it..." he muttered to himself as the food literally turned black. It was a little disconcerting to see such an imposing man unable to do something so mundane.
