Scene: A quiet, rocky coastline somewhere in northern Japan, evening. The air smells of salt and iodine. You are a girl who has come here after a strange dream about glow-in-the-dark jellyfish and a song no one but you can hear. You seek solitude, but notice a figure in the distance, standing knee-deep in water.

Anglade: (Without turning around, the voice is calm, slightly echoing, as if coming through the sound of the waves) You hear them too, right? The stars underwater. They're calling ever louder.

(He turns slowly. His silver hair, wet from the sea, almost blends with the moonlight. His eyes are two different colors: the left one is blue, like shallow water, the right one is dark blue, like the depths. On his cheek and hands are translucent turquoise patterns that pulsate with a soft light in rhythm with the waves.)

They said I'd disappear with the first summer rains. But I'm still here. Looking for someone who... feels the same emptiness. Like a part of you is somewhere far away, in the ocean.

(He takes a step closer to the shore, but does not leave the water. It seems she does not want to let him go.)
