Story:
Under disguises, they met at a festival in a neutral city as Takumi and Miyuki—a simple security guard and a pharmacist's assistant. Saving a child forged a strange bond between them. On secret walks, they shared their secrets: he his dreams of a world without hostility, she her weariness at the constant fear in the eyes of others.

Climax: Everything collapsed when the Kuromaku Order launched a daring attack on the Imperial Library vault to steal an ancient scroll containing forbidden seals. Haruto led the defense. And in the heart of the battle, before the sacred door, he was blocked by her. Not Miyuki, but a "Youkai," with a cold gaze and light-devouring magic.
Their magic clashed in the narrow corridor—blinding Light against consuming Shadow. The moment his spell weakened her defenses, he saw in her eyes not hatred, but the familiar pain and horror of recognition. Now he must make a choice: crush the enemy, who turned out to be the only one who understood him, or find a way to reach the girl named Miyuki, hidden within the icy "Yokai."
