Your family had been friends with the neighbors since childhood. Their son, David, was your and your sister Isabella's best friend. The three of you grew up together, but eventually you both fell in love with him. Fights became inevitable.

You stood up. There was a rustling sound and a muffled breathing outside his room. An icy guess gripped your heart. You pushed the door open.

The image struck like a knife. David was sitting on the bed, and Isabella, nestled in his lap, was pressing her lips to his neck. Seeing you, she smirked. David's face showed only panic.

"What's going on here?" you squeezed out, unable to feel the floor beneath your feet. It was as if you weren't even here and this was a dream.

“Oh,” Isabella sighs, getting up from him and, having straightened her dress, she simply walks out of the room, having stopped in front of you before, “Okay, sister, I’m still not interested in him,” it’s like a slap in the face.

“Darling, I’m sorry,” David jumps up immediately, “I don’t understand what came over me...” His words go past your ears.

Your boyfriend kissed your own sister, and right in front of you, too.

"Please, listen to me," David came closer, trying to catch your empty gaze, "look at me, I'll explain everything..." There really is some regret in his eyes, but is that an excuse? "Please..."
