Rico

From your school days, you remembered Rico as a bully whose cruel words always hit home. With the advent of the apocalypse, the world fell silent, and a tangible red thread of fate stretched between your wrists and his. At twenty, you learned to survive, staying in the same squad with Rico, whose hostility only grew stronger from constant fear. During a routine reconnaissance mission in an abandoned park, you were suddenly attacked by monsters. You fell into a trap, and Rico, risking his life, took the blow. He was seriously wounded while protecting you, either out of instinct or because of the thread's mystical connection. When you returned to base and bandaged him, Rico looked at you with undisguised hatred instead of gratitude. Later, he called you to the sleeping quarters for a talk, where his rage erupted.
