His hair also stands up in four spikes on his forehead and three strands behind (later in the anime, it gains five spikes on his forehead and four strands behind). This hairstyle remains unchanged throughout the series in his base form, only changing when he transforms or if he styles it with a comb and gel, such as when he worked as a bodyguard[41] to keep his hair in place, but it returns to its normal shape after a few minutes. He is most commonly seen wearing his traditional martial arts gi, which varies in color from reddish-orange to warm orange, paired with a navy blue short-sleeved shirt. He used to wear a blue obi, later changed to a sash of the same color. Due to a head injury during his childhood, which nearly cost him his life, Goku suffered from amnesia and lost his aggressive nature and the destructive drive characteristic of Saiyans. After this accident, he became a noble, cheerful, and calm individual, very difficult to anger, to the point of bordering on innocence. He was even incapable of being corrupted by the techniques of the demon Akkuman, whose special technique, Devil's Flash, exploits the smallest traces of evil in the souls of opponents to make them explode, since Goku possessed a pure and innocent heart. This characteristic also protects Goku when he faces the sorcerer Bobbidi, as Bobbidi can easily manipulate anyone with evil in their heart. Even so, he was able to retain all the biological characteristics of his race.

The King of All (全ぜん王おう, Zen'ō¿?), also nicknamed by Son Goku as Todito (全ぜんちゃん, Zen-chan¿?), is the ruler and absolute god of all universes and the supreme sovereign of everything that exists in Dragon Ball. He is a cute humanoid of very short stature, having an oval-shaped head, has sections of light blue and purple stripes on his face, and has no nose. He wears a pink robe with yellow trim, and on his torso is an outfit with the two kanji characters (全) meaning 'all' (one of them inverted to give meaning only to the kanji (王) meaning 'king'). He also wears pink heels with gold stockings. Finally, his two ears are shaped like half a sphere with a flat gray section. He has a well-mannered and kind personality, speaks very respectfully, and is not offended by Son Goku's carefree presence. In fact, he asked Son Goku to be his friend and come to his palace to play with him, which Goku agreed to. He has shown himself to be quite patient when asking Son Goku to come play with him, as he perfectly understood when Son Goku said he couldn't at that moment because he had other things to do. However, he can be unpredictable, capricious, and have a fragile temper, as he destroyed 6 of the 18 universes that previously existed in a fit of rage. This attitude, coupled with a somewhat childish and irresponsible nature, leads the King of All to misuse his powers. For this reason, he is feared among the gods of all universes, a fear born from his tantrums.

However, despite his generally indifferent attitude, he has shown concern for his siblings, as in the case of his younger brother Merusu. Seeing that Merusu was about to break the Angelic Law, he immediately went to his father to confirm if there was still a chance to save him. Seeing that Merusu was only hanging by a thread, he asked the Grand Priest for permission to take charge of his brother should he attempt to fight, ultimately managing to stop him in time before he unleashed his full power, saving him from being erased from existence. Although Whis has not been shown in an actual battle outside of video games, he is currently considered the most powerful character in all of Universe 7. However, while the power of his older sister Vados is unknown, she claims to be superior to his (although he has denied this). According to Beerus, Whis's power surpasses his own, and Whis is more powerful than Super Saiyan God Goku and all the characters seen in Dragon Ball Z. According to the series' original author, Akira Toriyama, in terms of power, Super Saiyan God Goku would be rated a 6, Beerus a 10, and Whis a 15.

Whis (ウイス, Uisu?) is one of the Grand Priest's sons, the younger brother of Vados, Korn, and Kus. He is the guardian angel assigned to assist and serve as a mentor to Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He has light blue skin, long white hair, and elegant, feminine features. He wears a maroon robe, a black and white breastplate with yellow, orange, and white details, black heeled shoes, and a blue ring around his neck. He also carries a long, blue and yellow scepter with a black jewel floating at the top. He has a calm and peaceful personality and even appears somewhat unhurried, which doesn't prevent him from focusing on trivial matters, as he is perfectly capable of being aware of a situation without much effort. For example, he is trained to detect when Beerus is about to accidentally destroy a planet or celestial body in moments of carelessness (such as when he has just woken up and uses his ki while still drowsy, as seen in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', while training Goku and Vegeta), at which point Whis must be prepared to either block his attack or restore what he has destroyed. He is very kind and also enjoys food, as shown when he eats a cake while telling the Z Fighters that the entire Solar System would be destroyed in an instant, or when he is seen visiting a restaurant while Beerus is fighting the Z Fighters on Earth.

He is a guardian angel who greets visitors at the palace of the King of All and guides them to him. He is the father of the guardian angels of all universes, and Kus is his eldest daughter.

He is a highly respected and fearsome being, as when he went to the Sacred World of the Kais to announce the start of the Tournament of the Omni-King, all the Supreme Kais immediately panicked and prostrated themselves before him. Even Beerus, a very proud and powerful God of Destruction, knelt fearfully before him. However, despite his mostly indifferent attitude, he showed happiness when Android 17 made the wish to restore and bring back the universes erased from existence, demonstrating that he likes people who are selfless and care for others. He also displays great vigilance and care for his children, as in the case of Merus, since he was concerned at the idea that the latter was in danger of being annihilated for trying to break the Law of the Angels, admitting that, even though he is a troubled child, he doesn't want to lose a guardian angel. This level of care was demonstrated when, even after Merus violated Angelic Laws and was eradicated from existence, he chose to restore him as a mortal with a limited lifespan, allowing him to remain a member of the Galactic Patrol.

This character has the appearance of a short, young boy. He has light hair, light blue skin, and lilac eyes similar to Vados and Whis. His eyes are slanted, and he lacks the prominent eyelashes of Whis and Vados. Unlike the other guardian angels, his light blue halo adorns the back of his head. He wears a simple teal outfit with shoulder pads, an orange triangle on his chest, and a wide red belt with a gold buckle bearing the kanji "大" (大), denoting his rank. He wears white boots with black toes, similar to Whis's.

In the anime, Whis acknowledges him as one of the five most powerful beings in all the universes, stating that even he couldn't possibly defeat him. However, in the manga, Whis reveals that the Grand Priest is the most powerful being in all the universes, even more powerful than the Omni-King, implying that absolutely no one is on his level. His power and authority are so great that both the Supreme Kais and the Gods of Destruction immediately kneel before him in respect. He also made Beerus cower in fear with a single stern look. Flight: The ability to fly using Ki.
Magical Materialization: The High Priest uses this ability in the Tournament of Power to construct the combat platform using the metal Kachi Kacchin.
Hologram Projection: This is an ability that allows the High Priest to create a hologram in the palm of his hand and project a specific event.
