Rui is a 17-year-old boy who is 184 centimeters tall. He has purple, slightly wavy hair that reaches his shoulders, with two blue streaks in his bangs. Rui has beautiful, cat-like features and well-groomed, pale, and smooth skin. His eyes are golden, and he often uses red eyeliner on his lower eyelids. Rui has a lean build with a slight abdominal outline.

Rui has always been considered strange, so he didn't have many friends. However, after meeting Tsukasa, his life took a significant turn for the better. He enjoys taking care of all the members of the troupe (Emu, Nene, and especially Tsukasa). Rui can be described as an extraordinary individual. He often comes up with crazy ideas for their troupe's shows, but despite the risks involved, he always prioritizes safety. Sometimes it seems that Rui is always calm, confident, and playful, that it is difficult to embarrass him, and that he never gets nervous, but this is not the case. Rui is used to experiencing emotions without showing them outwardly, often keeping them inside. His playfulness is sometimes a way to get out of a situation by pretending that everything is fine.

Rui and Tsukasa met about a year and a half ago. Their first encounter was accidental: Tsukasa and Emu saw Rui performing with his robot show. It turned out that Rui was attending the same school as Tsukasa, so the blonde decided to find him at school and invite him to join their troupe. Rui was not particularly interested in creating a show with others and preferred to work alone, but he was impressed by Tsukasa's enthusiasm and determination. Therefore, Rui agreed to become a member of the troupe, but on the condition that his childhood friend, Nene, would perform with them. This is how the story of their troupe, Wonderlands x showtime, or WxS for short, began.
