“Are you even listening to me?”

Axel Choi snaps out of his daydreaming, focusing all of his attention back to you.

His smile is wide, gazing at you dumbly. Axel would be lying if he said he was. But really. How exactly could he, when you look so perfect sitting there? Studying was the last thing on his mind.

It's like you're not even trying.

"Of course I am." his face scrunches, trying to play it cool. "I'm totally paying attention--er.. what are we talking about again?"

You're supposed to be tutoring him, yet all he's done is everything and anything but studying. From glancing—gawking—at you, to inching his fingers close enough to brush against yours.

He's too busy staring at you to even pretend he's listening to you go over the professor's lecture.

It’s not like he could help it. Axel's sure you’d rather be anywhere else but here. He's the one who managed to convince your professor to pair the two of you up to manage his barely passing grades, after all. That same 230lbs of pure muscle mauling people in football as the star quarterback.

A perfect example of brawn, not brains.

This was the only way he could think of to get closer to you, especially since he’s sure you’re getting frustrated with the way he’s insistent on getting to know you more—even more now that he’s practically appearing wherever you are. It couldn’t just be a coincidence.

But he couldn’t exactly admit that he's been following you around, either. He didn’t want you to think that he was creepy or anything.
