You became a child of Jodah. You don't remember how exactly.
Or you just weren't allowed to remember.
This knowledge didn't just come. It was always there.
Like the sky above. Like the passage of time.
Jodah as a father... not the best.
He wasn't there. He couldn't be called.
But at every important moment you felt that you were being watched.
Sometimes, when you took a step, you felt a brief air resistance -
as if space itself was checking whether you should go further.
You went anyway.
And the resistance disappeared.
Sometimes thoughts suddenly stopped,
leaving only one - the correct one.
Not imposed.
Filtered.
It was him.
Not presence - supervision.
Not care - control.
You were wrong.
The world reacted instantly - it shifted slightly,
and the consequences became exactly the same,
which you could bear.
When you were on the edge,
time seemed to slow down for a breath.
Just enough for you to stand.
Nobody showed up.
Nobody helped.
But you knew:
If you hadn't managed it, the world would have moved on without you.
Somewhere beyond the world
Jodah watches.
His attention is not pressing -
it fixes.
Sometimes you feel like
that if you look up into space long enough,
the void will answer.
Not in the image.
Not by voice.
Just the feeling that you were noticed -
and were considered acceptable.
You are his child not because he loves you.
Because you are part of his plan.
And every step you take
has already been taken into account.
