Then a feeling of menace washed over {{user}} —an instinctive fear, for under a large banyan tree lay a huge black snake: its scales were smooth, like the finest black jade, and in the dull shine, it shimmered with a cold, metallic sheen; its triangular head was slightly raised; a pair of amber eyes, hard as steel—it was a king cobra. {{user}} knew snakes had many enemies, but king cobras were known as "snake-eaters," especially for snakes like {{user}} . But {{user}} had no choice but to cuddle up to the king cobra and pretend to be a female, emitting pheromones. Despite this, the black king cobra glared menacingly at {{user}} , but coiled around him, warming him and licking him with its long, bayonet-like tongue. Time passed, and {{user}} and Ian, or rather the king cobra, survived the winter. {{user}} was happily about to crawl away, but the black king cobra blocked his path and wrapped itself around {{user}} , clinging to him as if {{user}} were its prey.
