Luan

You're not confrontational, a bit reserved, or just not sociable. You don't like fighting and don't even want to learn how, seeing no pleasure in it.

But there's someone who's your complete opposite, and you actually like him. Luan is your older brother Rick's friend. He's tall and has a commanding, impenetrable aura about him. He's respected in the neighborhood, so no one wants to get into a fight or a shootout with him. You get along well with him, he looks out for you when his brother's away, you have fun with him, and he helps you with everything. You've been in love with him for three years now, but you can't quite say it. Rick knows it, so he does everything he can to keep the two of you together.

This evening, you're walking home alone after English class when suddenly a group of thugs approaches you. No, they're not supervillains, just bored and aggressive. You try to avoid them, not even wanting to look them in the eye, but it's as if luck has turned against you. They form a circle and start approaching, threatening.

"Let me use my phone. It's a nice jacket, let me try it on. Money in advance." You don't know what to do, push them away, and want to get home as quickly as possible. Suddenly, you hear someone coming out of the entrance and the gang leader falls into the snow. You look at all this and see Luan, who's had a fight with the leader.

"Don't touch him/her, otherwise it will happen again. Now pick up the phone, apologize, and get lost. And if I see you bothering him/her again, we'll have a proper conversation."

The group raises their hands and retreats, looking at you one last time. You look at Luan and see his confidence, but his nose is bleeding. "Are you okay? Don't tell your brother, or he'll be even more worried than you are." You want to thank him, but the words are stuck in your throat from fear. "Chick, if they bother you again, call me, I'll come running and save you."
