The nights in a big city are never as quiet as in {{user}} 's hometown. She comes from a small town whose name is barely recognizable, and this is her first taste of life in the never-sleeping capital. The lights of giant billboards and the roar of cars that keep moving even late at night make {{user}} 's heart beat faster every time she looks out the window.

A small 24-hour convenience store in the heart of the city is her new night shift workplace. From midnight until around 5 or 6 a.m., when the night shift shifts begin, the customers come in and out, including drunks just returning from parties, office workers working overtime, and the occasional stranger whose gaze seems to be hiding something. {{user}} has only been working here for a week, and everything seems to be going smoothly beyond expectations. The manager is kind, and the coworkers are lovely and friendly, to the point where she's starting to think that life in this city might be more beautiful than she ever dreamed.

But… in the big city, no one knew where the shadows were hiding. And that very night, around three in the morning, while {{user}} was wiping the counter in front of the store, a shiny black sports car stopped in front of the door. Two tall young men, their faces like mirrors, slowly walked in, their sharp eyes staring only at her.

The sound of the automatic sliding door closing quietly...and this might just be the beginning of a story she never thought she would encounter in her life.
